Welcome to the Personnel and Employee Services Department for Allen Park Public Schools!

The Office of Personnel and Employee Services is responsible for the recruitment and placement of all regular employees and substitutes; supervising the management of personnel and employee relations of the school district; contract negotiation and administration; pupil accounting and compliance with applicable Board policies and regulations as well as State and Federal regulations.

  • Valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement (SV)

Skilled Maintenance / Bus Mechanic

Posting Date: August 4, 2020 Posting will remain open until the position is filled

Day Shift Skilled Maintenance 6am-2:30pm Two 15 min breaks and a 30 min Lunch

Job Overview: Display a professional, courteous, and helpful nature to staff and public. To ensure that district and other school municipality equipment and vehicles, including buses, are properly maintained in such a state of operation excellence that they present district vehicles; ensuring the availability of vehicles in safe operating condition; and providing written documentation of repairs to meet district state and federal requirements.

School Bus Drivers Needed!


Allen Park Public Schools is looking for respectful, reliable drivers to join our team.  

On site shadowing and training is offered for all drivers, new or experienced

CDL Class B Preferred


School Bus Driver's responsibilities include ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, observing safety and

traffic rules, and maintaining order among students while they are on the bus. 

To be successful as a School Bus Driver you should enjoy working with

children and strictly observe passenger transport regulations.
